Featuring FUBAR

Join us on the evening of Saturday, April 26 at Downtown Home & Garden in Ann Arbor for the best Earth Day party in town! Get ready for dancing, socializing, and parading around town to celebrate the Earth and to benefit the Ecology Center’s Mary Beth Doyle Environmental Health Fund. This festive annual event will also include a silent auction.

2008 Annual Membership Meeting

Our featured speaker at the Ecology Center’s Annual Membership Meeting this year is Mark Schapiro, Editorial Director of the Center for Investigative Reporting and author of Exposed: The Toxic Chemistry of Everyday Products and What’s at Stake for American Power. This event — which also includes Ecology Center program updates and our Board of Directors election — is open to the public and admission is free.
 

2nd Annual Ecology Center Fall Fundraiser

On Nov. 8, the Michigan Union Ballroom in Ann Arbor was filled with Ecology Center supporters from throughout Southeast Michigan, Ecology Center staff and board members, the 2007 Munzel Award for Environmental Activism honoree — Bunyan Bryant — and his family, and a woman in a cowboy hat. The woman in the cowboy hat was Dr. L. Hunter Lovins, co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute, and President and founder of Natural Capitalism Solutions, which educates senior decision-makers in business, government and civil society to restore and enhance natural and human capital while increasing prosperity and quality of life.
